Lidl Trek chooses TELETASK to transform the team’s official buses
The Lidl Trek cycling team, one of the leading references in the UCI WorldTour, invests not only in bicycles, athletes and physical performance — but also in comfort, well being and efficiency off the bike. To achieve this, the team integrated a complete TELETASK home automation system into its two new support buses, which serve as a mobile base during competitions across Europe.
Comfort and efficiency on the move
With an intense schedule and long travel days, the buses become the team’s home on the road. TELETASK allows full control of:
- lighting (including DALI and RGBW)
- motorised blinds and shutters
- internal safety and functional systems
- automatic scenarios tailored to each situation
The “Road Mode” scenario activates automatically when the bus starts moving, adjusting lighting, disabling blinds and locking drawers for safety.
When the bus is parked, the “Hotel Mode” scenario restores full flexibility: the exterior awning can be deployed, lighting returns to normal, and all functions are accessible through the PENTUS touchscreen..

Seamless connectivity – even while travelling
The TELETASK central unit is connected to the TELETASK Cloud, with internet access ensured via Starlink and a 5G router. This setup enables:
- remote operation
- fast software updates
- uninterrupted service anywhere
Specialised installation
The project was implemented in Belgium by Inside Decorations, led by Giovanni Couckhuyt, ensuring complete integration and meticulous attention to detail.
This use case demonstrates how TELETASK automation can be applied not only to residential or commercial buildings, but also to infraestruturas móveiselevating efficiency and comfort for high performance teams.
