Exoskeletons
Reduce effort, prevent absenteeism, and improve worker performance and well-being.
What are Exoskeletons?
Exoskeletons are wearable devices designed to reduce physical effort, improve posture, and support repetitive or demanding movements. They act as an external framework that moves with the body and assists with daily tasks, especially in industrial, agricultural, healthcare, or caregiving settings.
There are two main types:
Passive Exoskeletons, which operate without motors or batteries, using mechanisms such as springs and pneumatic systems to provide ergonomic support.
Active Exoskeletons, which incorporate motors and sensors to offer motorized assistance to specific parts of the body.
At iDR, we offer both types, allowing the solution to be tailored to the needs of each task, worker, or sector. The shared goal is to protect workers, improve their quality of life, reduce absenteeism, and ensure greater efficiency with less physical strain.
